St. Johns Fire Department accepts applications for volunteer firefighters. Completion of Firefighter I and II preferred, but not required. Mint Festival

The annual St Johns Mint Festival is held the second weekend of August each year and provides the entire family with an action packed weekend. Held at the City Park and County Fairgrounds, over 75,000 people attend activities of the festival such as arts and crafts, flea market, antiques and collectibles, softball, basketball and tennis tournaments, tractor pulls and children's activities. There is also free daily entertainment, a Mint Queen Pageant and mint information and foods. The festival begins Friday afternoon, and then kicks into high gear with the Grand Mint Parade on Saturday. Over 150 entries are highlighted in the parade. Don't forget to get your bowl of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream at the festival!!

COMPLAINTS:

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) provides a video/cable dispute resolution process for customers.  This allows customers who are unable to resolve their video/cable television complaints with their provider to file a complaint with the MPSC.

What is CodeRED® and why is it important to me?

CodeRED® is an emergency notification service that allows emergency officials to notify residents and businesses by telephone, cell phone, text message, email and social media regarding time-sensitive general and emergency notifications. It will only be used in emergencies to notify citizens of things like missing persons, hazardous materials releases, boil water advisories, evacuations, etc.
